Advantages

  • DARAKOTE MRA3 is suitable for use on all types of formwork
  • It is a sediment free, highly mobile liquid, which can be used in very fine sprays without clogging the jets.
  • There is no unpleasant odour, even when using a fine fog spray.
  • Very economic coverage rates can be obtained without difficulty.
  • DARAKOTE MRA3 retains its mobility at low temperatures
  • It may be applied immediately or prior to casting, treated forms may be left overnight. Widespread experience shows that treated forms can be exposed to weather for 14 days without re-treatment, to give the usual excellent results.
  • Continued use gives progressively better results on timber formwork.
  • It can be used with either grey or white cement.
  •  DARAKOTE MRA3 provides a quick, positive release of formwork, reducing labour costs and damage to formwork and moulds
  • It drastically reduces the incidence of blowholes, surface blemishes and staining.
  •  It is an effective rust inhibitor.

Method Of Use

DARAKOTE MRA3 is ready to use and should not be diluted. It should be applied as thinly and evenly as possible.

DARAKOTE MRA3 can be applied to all types of formwork by spray, fine-haired

brush, swab or roller. Any excess should be mopped up. For the best and most economical performance, application by fine fog spray is recommended. It will not clog fine jets even at freezing temperatures.

Coverage

30-40 square metres per litre

The above figures apply to the use with a fine spray on metal or sealed ply at 15ºC. Rough forms, hand application and cold weather will give lower rates. With new timber, a sealing coat should be applied first and then a second coat before concrete placing.
